Red Patch was one of the many coal mine patch town neighborhoods in Northeastern Pennsylvania during the first half of the 20th century. Located in the village of Primrose on Forestville Road near Minersville, it took its name from the paint color of the clapboard on the houses. It was the home of a world renown realist artist, Nicholas Bervinchak. Enter the gallery to experience and enjoy his work and get acquainted with the world in which he lived.
